Mauricio Dimant, PhD
Dr. Dimant Is the Academic Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program on Iberoamerica and the Middle East at the Rothberg International School at the Hebrew University. He is also the Coordinator of the Latin America Unit at the Harry S. Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Dr. Dimant participates in the Research Project on Peace and Religion, and Ethnic Cultural Minorities and Public Policies, and is a member of the Academic Board of the Pontifical Foundation Scholas Ocurrentes of Pope Francis. His M.A. and PhD. dissertation were based on the relationship of political and ethnic processes in Latin America, subjects he teaches in the Department of Romance and Latin American Studies at the Faculty of Humanities. His post-doctoral project he did in a Project awarded by the European Research Council on the Sephardic diaspora and political processes in Europe.
